Who it's for

Year 10 to Year 13

Whether a student is just beginning to consider medicine or is already deep into their application, our visits are tailored to where they are in the journey. We talk to students honestly — no sales pitch, no pressure, just the information they need.

What medicine is really like

An honest, doctor-led look at life as a medical student and junior doctor - the rewarding parts and the challenging ones.

How to get in

A clear overview of A-level choices, the UCAT, work experience, and the personal statement — explained in plain English.

Which medical school is right for you

Understanding the difference between UK medical schools, course styles, and how to build a strategic shortlist.

Live Q&A with a doctor

Students can ask anything — from a typical day on the wards to how to stand out in a competitive application cycle.

How it works

Delivered by practising UK doctors

Each visit is led by a fully qualified UK doctor who has been through the medical school application process themselves — and who now works in the NHS.

Sessions can be delivered as a classroom talk, a whole-year assembly, or a small-group workshop, depending on what works best for your school.

We are flexible on format, timing, and content. Get in touch and we will work around you.

International Schools

Applying to UK medicine from abroad

Students at international schools face a distinct set of challenges when applying to UK medical schools. Our visits address those challenges directly.

Qualification equivalency

IB, AP, Indian CBSE, Singapore A-levels, Canadian curricula - we explain which qualifications UK medical schools accept, how they are benchmarked against A-levels, and what scores you actually need (not just the published minimums).

Home vs international fees - and who qualifies for what

Many students at international schools do not realise they may qualify as home students based on UK residency, or conversely, may not have considered the full cost of international fees. We clarify the rules and what they mean for your shortlist.

Getting work experience without NHS access

Students who have never lived in the UK cannot walk into a local GP surgery. We cover what counts as valid clinical experience from overseas, how to approach hospitals and clinics in your home country, and how to frame that experience for a UK application.

The UCAT from overseas

Booking at international test centres, logistics, and whether to sit before or after arriving in the UK. We also cover English language requirements - IELTS thresholds, OET, and who is and is not exempt.

Personal statement culture gap

Students from educational traditions that reward achievement over reflection often write CV-style personal statements. UK medical schools want something very different - reflective, specific, and personal. We show students what that looks like in practice.

Interview format and MMI preparation

Multiple Mini Interviews and panel formats are unfamiliar to many international applicants. Role-play stations in particular require a style of engagement that is culturally specific to the UK clinical context. We prepare students for this directly.

Book a visit for your international school

We visit international schools in the UK and can arrange remote sessions for schools abroad. For schools interested in more involved, multi-session courses, we will also consider requests to travel internationally. Get in touch to discuss what your students need.
